Beauty Hayden Panettiere Says Obama is So Nice

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has revealed that US President Barack Obama was “larger than life” when they met.

Panettiere, 20, met the President during one of his campaigns and she said he was sympathetic about her protests over the slaughtering of whales and dolphins in Japan.

She recently spoke about the cause in Academy Award-nominated docu-film, The Cove.

Panettiere said in a recent US magazine interview: ‘I’ve also taken a lot of trips to [Washington] DC and met with senators about the issue. I even met with Barack Obama, when he was campaigning.
‘He said he grew up in Hawaii, so dolphins and whales are very close to him.”

She added: “I knew I had two minutes to reel off what I wanted to get across. He was larger than life and so nice. Laws and politics – that’s where things change.’
